Barrier, ANPR and lighting suppliers for UK campsites

An entrance barrier or number plate recognition (ANPR) camera controls who comes onto your site, and can let guests in after hours without you being at the gate. Low-level lighting helps guests find their way to the facilities after dark without lighting up the sky.

The suppliers here make barriers, access control systems, ANPR cameras and outdoor lighting for parks. Some systems can open the barrier for a guest whose booking is due that day.

Before you choose, ask:

• How does a guest get in: a code, a fob, their number plate, or a call?
• Does it need power and an internet connection at the gate?
• What happens when it breaks, and how quickly can you fix it?
• Can guests and deliveries get in if the power or internet goes down?
• For lighting: is it low-glare and dark-sky friendly?

ANPR and CCTV record personal information, so you'll need to tell guests and follow the ICO's guidance on cameras.
