Campsite channel manager: Keep the sites you sell on, with one calendar.
Bookings from Pitchup, Hipcamp, Airbnb and the other sites you list on come into your PootlrHost calendar, and they see the nights you’ve sold elsewhere. Your own website takes bookings alongside them, with no commission.
Which sites, and how.
Each pitch, hut or pod is linked to its listing on each site. Pitchup links by pitch type with your API key; the rest link by the calendar (iCal) link every booking site shares.

How syncing works.
Two ways in, one calendar. Whichever way a site links, its bookings hold the pitch on your website, your booking widget and your calendar, labelled with the site they came from.
Pitchup, by API key
Paste your Pitchup API key (it’s under Me › My details in Pitchup’s manager portal) and link each of your pitch types to its pitch type on Pitchup. Pitchup then tells PootlrHost about new, changed and cancelled bookings within a couple of minutes, with the guest’s name, email and phone. When a night is booked on your website, PootlrHost tells Pitchup straight away. Without an API key, Pitchup links by calendar link like the rest. More about Pitchup sync
Everything else, by calendar link
Hipcamp, Airbnb, Booking.com and the others each share a calendar (iCal) link for a listing. Paste it into PootlrHost against the pitch, and give the site PootlrHost’s link for that pitch in return. If one listing sells several identical pitches, link it to “Any” pitch of that type, and it closes when they’re all taken. Airbnb listings and Booking.com rooms link to one pitch each.
Setting it up
Switch on Other booking sites in Settings, under Features. Add each site you sell on, then link each pitch, hut or pod. PootlrHost reads a new calendar straight away and tells you how many bookings came in. The help centre has the steps for connecting Pitchup and for calendar links.
What moves, and what doesn’t.
Bookings and closed dates move between PootlrHost and the other sites. Prices never do.
Their bookings come in
PootlrHost reads the other sites’ calendars every 15 minutes, or when you press Sync now, and puts their bookings on the right pitch in your calendar. Pitchup, linked by its API, sends its bookings within a couple of minutes.
Your availability goes out
Each site reads PootlrHost’s calendar for the pitch on its own schedule, often every few hours. Pitchup, linked by its API, is told straight away.
Changes follow
New dates on the other site move the booking here, and a stay still to come that disappears from its calendar is cancelled here. Cancelling one in PootlrHost doesn’t cancel it on the other site, so cancel it there too.
Nothing private goes out
The calendar other sites read marks your taken nights and closed dates as Booked or Unavailable, with no guest names or prices.
Guest details stay put
A calendar link carries the dates and sometimes a name, but no email, phone, payment or extras. Pitchup by API key sends the guest’s details too.
Prices stay yours
Only bookings and availability are shared. You set your prices on each site, as you do now.
When two sites sell the same night.
Calendar links aren’t instant. PootlrHost reads the other sites every 15 minutes, but they read PootlrHost on their own schedule, so now and then a night can sell on two sites before they catch up.
If that happens, PootlrHost keeps both bookings, flags the clash under Needs you on Today and emails you. Move one guest to another pitch on the calendar, or cancel one booking on the site it came from, in good time before they arrive.
More on each.

For availability, yes. It keeps one calendar for your pitches and keeps Pitchup, Hipcamp, Airbnb, Booking.com, Campsites.co.uk, Glampsites, Canopy & Stars and any site with an iCal link in step with it. Pitchup links by your Pitchup API key, or by calendar link without one. The rest link by calendar link, pitch by pitch. It doesn’t push prices, payments or extras to any of them: you set those on each site, as you do now.
Pitchup, linked by its API, sends its bookings within a couple of minutes. PootlrHost reads every other site’s calendar every 15 minutes, or straight away when you press Sync now. Those sites read PootlrHost’s calendar on their own schedule, often every few hours, and Sync now can’t hurry them.
As calendar links aren’t instant, it can happen now and then. PootlrHost keeps both bookings, flags the clash under Needs you on Today and emails you, so you can move one guest to another pitch, or cancel one booking on the site it came from.
No. Prices aren’t shared in either direction, with Pitchup or anyone else. Set them on each site as you do now.
From Pitchup by API key, yes: the guest’s name, email, phone, party and any special requests. A calendar link carries the dates and sometimes a name, but no email, phone, payment or extras, so add what you need to the booking yourself.
No. Linking other booking sites is included on every plan, and bookings that come in from them carry no PootlrHost booking fee. Guests pay the site they booked on.
Yes, if it shares an iCal (.ics) calendar link. Choose Another booking site, give it a name, and link each pitch the same way.
Book direct as well.
Keep your listings for the new guests they bring, and give everyone else your own website to book on.
