Water and waste suppliers for UK campsites

Every campsite needs fresh water, somewhere to empty chemical toilets and a way to deal with grey water and sewage. The suppliers here make chemical disposal points, water and waste tanks, pumping stations and treatment systems.

If your water doesn't come from the mains, your council treats it as a private supply and may need to check it. If your waste goes to a septic tank or a treatment plant rather than a public sewer, the rules on where it can drain depend on where you are, so check with the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales or SEPA.

Before you choose, ask:

• How many pitches or guests is it sized for, at your busiest?
• Does it need power, and how often does it need emptying or servicing?
• Can a chemical disposal point be rinsed and kept clean easily?
• Will it need any permit or registration, and will you help with that?
