Updated
List what’s on at your site, from pizza nights to farm tours, and let guests add tickets when they book. Events show on your website, in the booking form and in the guest guide.
To use them, switch on Events and tickets in Settings, under Features. Events then appears in the menu.
Add an event
- Go to Events and tap Add an event.
- Under The basics, fill in the Name, Start date, End date, times, Where and a Description.
- Under Who sees it, and tickets, choose the Event type, who it’s Shown to and how Tickets work (see below).
- Tick Feature this event for key weekends and standout events. Featured events are listed first.
- Tap Save event.
You can change anything later. Tap an event in the list to edit it, then Save changes. To remove it, tap Delete event, then tap again to confirm.
Who sees it
- Public: on your website and in the guest guide.
- Staying guests: only guests staying on those dates see it, when they book and in their guest guide. It isn’t listed on your website.
- Private: for your own planning only.
Tickets
- Info only: shows the event without tickets.
- Included with stay: guests reserve places without paying extra.
- Paid add-on: guests buy places as part of their booking. Set the Ticket price (£), and it’s added to the booking.
Set Places available to cap numbers (leave it blank for no limit), and Tickets per booking so one booking can’t take every place.
What guests see
Your website’s Events section lists upcoming public events automatically. Turn it on or off in Website under Sections on your pages.
When guests book dates that cover an event with tickets, they can add places alongside your extras. When it’s full, it shows as Sold out. Events without tickets show as “Also on during your stay”. In the guest guide, events during their stay show under What’s on.
Who’s coming
Open a ticketed event to see Who is coming: tickets sold, places left, money taken, and each guest with their booking. Tap a guest to open their booking. The Events page also shows totals and your past events.
Good to know
- Tickets are only sold with a stay.
- Changes show on your website straight away.
- Only the site owner or a manager can add or change events. The rest of your team can see the list.
