PootlrHost vs Anytime Booking: campsite booking software compared

Anytime Booking and PootlrHost compared for UK campsites and CL sites: what each costs, websites, Pitchup, pitch maps and balances.

Updated . Anytime Booking’s details checked

Anytime Booking is booking and management software from Cornwall for “the outdoor holiday market”: campsites, holiday parks, glamping sites, motorhome hire and holiday let agencies. It has plans for small sites and CLs, connects to Pitchup and Airbnb directly, and offers more payment providers and park equipment links than PootlrHost. PootlrHost is simpler and aimed only at small sites, with a full website, a pitch map and automatic balance collection included at one price.

We couldn’t load Anytime Booking’s own pricing pages when we checked, so its prices here come from its exhibitor listing for the November 2026 Farm Business Innovation show and from the CL Owners Group, neither of which says whether VAT is added. Its features come from its own help centre.

Where Anytime Booking is the better choice

  • Bigger or mixed businesses. Holiday parks, motorhome hire and letting agencies, with owner portals, an agency module and accounts for several sites.
  • A direct link to Airbnb. Anytime connects to Airbnb by API as well as Pitchup, and says its Pitchup link updates every minute. PootlrHost connects to Pitchup by API too, with new Pitchup bookings arriving within a couple of minutes, but to Airbnb by calendar link.
  • Your own payment provider. Anytime works with Stripe, PayPal, Opayo and Worldpay, and can take card payments over the phone through Opayo or Worldpay. PootlrHost uses Stripe only.
  • Park equipment. Anytime links to number-plate barriers (£20 a month, plus a one-off integration fee) and to CampaVolt for electricity meters. PootlrHost doesn’t.
  • Track record. Anytime says it supports “hundreds” of businesses, and has 64 Trustpilot reviews.

Where PootlrHost is the better choice

  • A website included. Every PootlrHost site comes with a full website: pages for each pitch type, a gallery, how to find you and your questions, with booking built in.
  • A 20-pitch site. PootlrHost Pro is £25 a month (or £225 for a year paid upfront), with no booking fee. Anytime LITE takes 1% of your bookings on top of its monthly fee, which comes to £420 a year on £30,000 of bookings, and PRO adds a set-up fee.
  • Pick your pitch on a map, drawn once by you and shown to guests as they book, at no extra cost.
  • Balances collected for you. PootlrHost takes the balance from the guest’s saved card before they arrive. Anytime’s help centre describes reminder emails and guests paying online.
  • Set up yourself, today. Give PootlrHost your current website’s address and it reads your words, photos, pitch types and prices to start your new site. There’s no set-up fee on either plan.

What it costs, worked through

A 5-pitch CL taking 150 bookings a year at £20:

  • PootlrHost: 150 × £1 = £150 a year, or nothing if guests pay the £1 as a service fee. Bookings you take by phone and add yourself are free.
  • Anytime LITE: £10 × 12 + 1% of £3,000 = £150 a year.
  • Anytime CL plan: £24 × 12 = £288 a year, or £216 in the first year after three months free.

A 20-pitch campsite taking 500 bookings a year at £60:

  • PootlrHost Pro: £25 × 12 = £300 a year (or £225 for a year paid upfront).
  • Anytime LITE: £10 × 12 + 1% of £30,000 = £420 a year.
  • Anytime PRO: from £30 × 12 = £360 a year, plus a set-up fee that isn’t published.

Card fees are on top with both.
