Running more than one site

Switch between your campsites and add another one, with its own team, features and settings.

Updated

If you run more than one campsite, or help on someone else’s team as well as running your own, you can reach them all from one sign-in and switch between them.

Switching between sites

At the top of the menu you’ll see the site you’re looking at, with whether it’s live and its web address.

  1. Tap the site’s name. A list headed Your campsites opens, with your role on each, like Owner or Staff.
  2. Choose the site you want.

You’ll see “Switched to” and the site’s name, and the dashboard opens on that site’s Today. On a phone, tap More and choose from Your campsites.

Next time you sign in, PootlrHost opens the site you last switched to.

Adding another campsite

  1. Tap your site’s name at the top of the menu.
  2. Tap + Add another campsite.
  3. Go through the same setup as your first site: your site, pitches, features, plan and going live. See Setting up your site.

On the plan step, we use the card already on your account, so you don’t have to type it again. Tap Use a different card if you’d rather use another.

If you’re on someone else’s team and want a site of your own, the same menu offers + Set up your own campsite.

What’s shared and what isn’t

Each site is kept separate. It has its own pitches, prices, bookings, guests, website, messages, features and settings. Switching a feature off on one site doesn’t change the others.

Each site has its own team, too. Invite people from Settings › Team while you’re on that site. Someone can be on more than one of your sites with a different role on each. See Team and permissions.

Good to know

  • The Pro plan covers one campsite. If one of your sites is on Pro, choose Pay As You Go for the others. See Your PootlrHost plan.
  • You can only have one new site in progress at a time. If you left setup part-way, the menu says Finish setting up followed by its name. If you chose Set things up first, the draft is already in your list: go live with it before adding another.
  • A link to a booking or guest on one of your other sites, like one in an email from PootlrHost, switches you to that site and opens it there.
  • Two-step sign-in and your password belong to you, not a site, so they cover every site you can open. See Two-step sign-in.
