Prices and seasons

Set nightly prices, seasons, weekend extras, event prices, one-off dates and per-person charges.

Updated

What guests pay each night comes from your price list: a normal price for each pitch type, plus seasons, weekend extras and event prices for particular dates. You can also change the price of single nights on the calendar.

The price list

Go to Pitches & pricing › Price list. Prices are per pitch, per night. Tap any price to change it. With more than one pitch type, tick Charge this for every pitch type to set them all at once.

Starting out? Set up my prices step by step asks a few questions about your usual, weekend and season prices, then builds the list.

Seasons, weekends and events

Tap Add a season, give it a name and dates (From, and Until the night of, the last night it covers), then choose What kind of prices?:

  • A season with its own prices: summer holidays or a quiet month. Its price replaces the normal price.
  • Weekend nights cost a bit more: an amount added on top of the normal or season price, on the nights you tick (Thursday to Sunday nights).
  • An event that overrides everything: a festival weekend, say. Its price replaces the normal, season and weekend prices.

You can set a Minimum stay as you add it. Then tap the prices in its column to fill them in. A pitch type with no price for a season (shown as –) pays the normal price. To change a season’s name, dates or minimum stay, or delete it, tap its heading (on a phone, Dates & rules).

One-off prices on the calendar

  1. Go to Pitches & pricing › Calendar and pick the pitch type under Prices for.
  2. Tap the first day, then the last day.
  3. Tap Change the price, enter the price and tap Save. You can tick Move the other pitch types by the same amount.

Changed nights are marked “Changed”. To undo, select them, tap Change the price and choose Go back to the usual price for these days.

Which price wins

Each night is priced on its own. A price you change on the calendar beats everything. Next comes an event price, then a season price or the normal price, with any weekend extra added on top.

Charging per person

Prices are for the pitch, however many come. To charge by head, open the pitch type’s page from the Pitches tab, tap Edit details and under Who the price is for choose Some adults, with more people charged extra. Set Adults included, Each extra adult (£) and Each child (£), all per night. Guests then have to say how many adults are coming, and the extra people show as their own lines on the booking. These amounts are the same in every season.

Good to know

  • Changing a price doesn’t change bookings already made. If you move a booking to other dates or another pitch type, its nights are priced again.
  • Smart pricing can move prices with demand: see Smart pricing.
  • Minimum stays and other rules are in Booking rules.
